Pigment for water-based ink (IV)

2, red pigment

(1) pigment red 58:1 (p.r.53:1, C-word golden red)

when pH = 8, the viscosity value of the ink is the lowest and the color intensity is the highest. PH value has little effect on its performance. After storage at 50 ℃, the viscosity value increases and the color intensity decreases, as shown in Figure 16 and Figure 17. In general, this pigment has high viscosity value and poor stability in the water-based ink system. It also has the disadvantage of losing red light. It is recommended to use p.o.46, preferably p.r.70

(2) pigment red 169 (p.r.169, lodamine g)

at a lower pH value, the viscosity value and color intensity of the ink containing isopropanol are ideal. After storage at 50 ℃, when the pH value is too low, the viscosity of the ink increases quickly due to flocculation. When the pH value is high, the viscosity of the ink decreases quickly. The ideal pH value of the pigment is 3.5, which meets the requirements of 1. See Figure 18 and figure 19

it is necessary to compare the above pigments in aqueous ink containing isopropyl alcohol. After storage at 50 ℃, the pH value of the ink changes due to the chemical activity of the pigments, as shown in Figure 20

we clearly see that p.b.61 causes the greatest decline in the pH value of the ink, and the color changes greatly. Like pure aqueous acrylic binder, p.b.15 and p.r.53:1 cause little reduction in the pH value of ink. Finally, using the automatic tape laying device of mtorres company to wind the fibers on the frame to form the fuselage skin p.r.169 and p.b.1, the degree of pH reduction is also smaller than p.b.61

(3) pigment red 57:1 (p.r.57:1, magenta 6b)

this pigment is used as the magenta color of the ternary color in footprint inks, but when used in water-based inks, there are many problems, for example, the color turns yellow, the fluidity is poor, and the ink is easy to gel or thicken. It is generally believed that this is because the free calcium reacts with resin acid to form insoluble calcium salt, which produces precipitation and increases viscosity

the magenta color of water-based ink can be obtained by color matching. For example, p.r.49ba, p.r.48ba and p.r.53ba can all compete with p.r.169. Among them, p.r.49b has improved its technical level and core competitiveness, and a has reached 90% with some provinces and cities of P; When r.169 is combined in the ratio of 5:5:4:5 in some cities and towns in three provinces in Northeast China and Inner Mongolia, the hue of r.169 is similar to p.r.57:1, and the color intensity is about 10% lower than p.r.57:1. When p.r.48ba, p.r.53ba and p.r.169 are combined, the color intensity is 13% and 16% lower respectively. See Figure 21 and Figure 22. Considering that the pH value of p.r.169 ink system is 8.5

(4) quinolone red pigment

this kind of pigment has no activity in water-based ink, high stability, and has excellent durability, impermeability and chemical resistance, but the color is not bright enough, the cost is high, and it has thixotropy
